Keith Maxwell was appointed Head Professional at Sunningdale Golf Club in 1984 making him the Club’s 7th Professional since it was founded in 1900. He was made an Honorary Member in 2017 and is currently the Club’s Honorary Professional.

During Keith Maxwell’s 33 years as Head Professional at Sunningdale Golf Club, Keith carefully selected some of the country’s most talented young professionals to train under his tutelage. Their training has prepared them to move into many of the world’s most prestigious golf positions, covering 4 continents.

Having helped many people from all different walks of life in their quest to become better golfers Keith has a natural passion for the game, its heritage and history.

Having known Keith as a trusted friend for over 20 years now I can fully attest to his companionship, vast knowledge and experience in many sports and subjects. This along with his golf knowledge have made him a most engaging and erudite person to share time and play golf with.
